Glyn-Neath, Welsh: Glyn-nedd), is a small town in the county borough of Neath Port Talbot, traditional county of Glamorgan, South Wales, lying on the River Neath.

Glynneath is a typical small Welsh valley town, located in the Vale of Neath at the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. It has a rich heritage of industrial and community values, having been home to the coal industry during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Its location is central and is conveniently served for the whole of the South Wales area.

Glynneath has a population of over six thousand people,

Glynneath is a picturesque tourist area with waterfalls to the north east at Pontneathvaughan (Pontnedddechan) it is an idillic retreat and consists of many walks around the area. Sittng at the bottom of the Brecon Beacons it is truly a treasure.
